Our Naturalists know that childhood is the perfect time to discover the fun of the Lowcountry waterways, so time to get muddy! This Naturalist led kayak adventure is timed perfectly with the tides, offering your family an easy and fun adventure as the tides falls to reveal a sandbar full of marine treasures. This tour has the shortest “Paddle Time” so it’s the perfect option for families looking for an introduction to kayaking and some basic salt marsh ecology.

| Requirements: | This trip uses tandem sit-on-top kayaks. Children must be at least 35 lbs. An adult must accompany children under 18. Maximum of 1 child per adult. |

| Fee: | Resort Guests and KICA Members: $60 per person Outside Rental Agency Guests: $65 per person Children under 12 years: $50 per person. |
| What to bring: | Everyone must wear shoes that can get wet and muddy, but ones that will stay secure on your feet are highly recommended (i.e. aqua socks, teva-like sandals, old sneakers). No flip flops please. Please wear a bathing suit or clothes that can get wet. Bring drinking water, sunglasses, towel and sunscreen. |
