 November 8th - Charleston Symphony Concert ~ 5:00pmEnjoy an evening of music on the Terrace Lower Lawn at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Open to the public. A limited menu and beverages will be available for purchase. November 27th - Turkey Trot ~ 8:30amRise & shine for our annual fun run/walk on the beach! Get your workout in before the turkey eating and football watching! Registration begins at 8:00am at the Night Heron/Mariners Watch beach access point at Boardwalk 18. This race offers a one-mile walk or a one to three mile run on the beach for families, beginners or competitive runners. The race begins promptly at 8:30am. All participants receive a raffle ticket for prize drawing that will be held at 9:05am at the race start/finish line! Coffee will be provided at registration. Registration is complimentary. November 27th - Family Sand Sculpting ~ 1:00pm - 3:00pmDesign a sculpture at the Night Heron/Mariners Watch Beach Access. Categories include best holiday theme, most creative, and nature themes. Judging begins at 2:30pm. Make sure to bring your own tools. Complimentary. November 27th - Fall Festival ~ 5:30pm - 8:00pmFall family festival entertainment at Night Heron Park! A Bluegrass band will be pick'in away so stomp your feet and head on out to Night Heron Park for a kick'in good time! Favorite crowd attractions include the inflatable jump castle, crazy train & climbing wall. Family friendly competitions and relays will also be held throughout the festival. Complimentary. November 29th - Comedy Night ~ 7:30pm - 9:00pm, The Sanctuary - Adults Night Of Laughs!Enjoy cocktail hour followed by an Improv-Comedy with the Have Nots! Entry to the event is complimentary. A cash bar will be available. Event will be located in the Grand Oaks Ballroom. 6:00pm - 9:00pm, The SanctuaryWe will also be offering supervised programs for 5 to 17 year olds that coincide with the event! Reservations are required and the fee is $42 per person for the "Comedy Kraze" and $30 per person for "LOL". Please stop by the Heron Park Center or call (843) 768-6001. "Laughing Out Loud" (Lol)Teen Social 12-17 Year Olds. Meet up with vacationers that are your age! Laugh it up with Comedian David Ferrell from Raleigh, North Carolina. Enjoy pizza and socialize as you compete in a Wii Tournament, Ping Pong, Foosball and much more! The program takes place in the Heron Ballrooms. |
