The Fifth Annual Friendship Cup

February 25-28, 2010

Now in its fifth year, a two-man tournament for male amateur players. The Friendship Cup is contested on the world famous Ocean Course, site of the 2012 PGA Championship, and the Jack Nicklaus-designed Turtle Point Golf Course. You will enjoy lavish receptions, hospitality rooms and a new and unique dinner reception at The Sanctuary, as well as an array of fantastic prizes during this three-day event. Non-playing spouses or significant others will love the Mobil Five-Star Spa at The Sanctuary.

Weekend Agenda

Wednesday, February 25th

• Early Arrivals: Come early and enjoy the amenities. This is the opportunity to rest up for optional practice rounds the next morning.
  
• Dinner on your own

Thursday, February 26th

• Practice rounds: Optional skins game (additional cost for practice rounds)
  
• Registration: Upon checking in, time to pick up the tournament gift bag and the pairings for the first tournament round
  
• Opening Reception and Jacket Ceremony: Enjoy the presentation of jackets to past champions. Indulge in a delicious array of heavy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
  
• Hospitality Room: This is where the fun continues with games, drinks and prizes
  

Friday, February 27th

• Breakfast at Jasmine Porch or East Beach Market 
• Golf at Osprey Point: Two-man best ball. Enjoy complimentary drinks on the course.
• Past Champion's Dinner will be held this evening (open to past champions only).
  
• Dinner on Own: Enjoy one of our resort restaurants with your teammates or other friends you meet during this event
  
• Hospitality Room: Open for after dinner drinks, games and prizes
  

Saturday, February 28th

• Golf on Ocean Course: Two-man best ball. Enjoy complimentary drinks on the course
  
• Free Time
  
• Take a seat and enjoy a three-course dinner while team prizes and awards for individual low net and low gross will be awarded.
  
• Hospitality Room: Continues as winners are congratulated and non-winners can still celebrate their friendships! Final prizes will be awarded.

*NOTE: Every player registered will need to provide their USGA handicap and it must be verifiable. If unable to provide, then a zero handicap will be assigned.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 14-day cancellation policy. Room deposit (one-night stay) is taken at time of call and is nonrefundable if the reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the event. Day Pass Reservations follow the same 14-day cancellation policy. If a day reservation is made within 14 days of the event, the full amount will not be refunded.
