Teen & Youth Activities 

Teen and Youth Activities are a great way to experience Kiawah and to meet new friends. Held throughout the summer and during all major holidays. When on island, please refer to our current Activity Guide for more information.

All events take place at Night Heron Park, unless otherwise noted. Youth programs are designed for ages 7-12. Teen programs are designed for ages 13-18. Recreation staff is present; however,  youth and teens are not individually supervised. Please note that the following schedule is subject to change.

Night Programs for Summer 2010

June 13th - August 27th

Teen Night: Laser Tag

Sundays, 9pm -10:30pm

Come ready to dodge and shoot while meeting other teens on the island! Please meet in front of the stage.

Teen Night: Campfire Social & Glow Games

Mondays, 9:30pm - 11pm

Teens only! Stop by Night Heron Park to enjoy a campfire social. Hang out, roast marshmellows, and play some glow games! Located near Night Heron Park stage. Feel free to bring your guitars and jam out around the fire. Admission is complimentary.

Teen Night: Scenic Cinema

Tuesdays, 8:45pm

Bring your balnkets and chairs and join us on the Night Heron Park lawn for a one of a kind outdoor movie experience. We will be showing a family friendly feature on our inflatable movie screen. Admission is complimentary. Stay tuned for a complete movie list of our showings for the summer.

Teen Night: Pool Party

Wednesdays, 9:30pm - 11pm

Teens only at Night Heron Pool! Pool Party!! Complimentary. Please bring your own towels.

Craft Cove: Just For Teens

Thursdays, 2pm - 3:30pm

Hang out at the Craft Cove and get artistic. You can make something as unique as you to remember your vacation at Kiawah Island. Reservations required. Please call 843.768.6001 to make reservations. Also, click here to see more information about our Craft Cove programs.

Youth 3-on-3 Basketball

Thursdays, 4pm - 5pm

Take it to the top of the key! Come with a team or solo to make some friends. Groups will be divided by age. Winning teams will receive a prize. Meet at the Night Heron Park Basketball Court. Advance registration is not required, complimentary.

Teen Night: 3-on-3 Basketball

Thursdays, 9pm - 11pm

Give it your best shot! This single elimination tournament is your chance to show off your skills. Winning teams will receive a prize. Meet at the Night Heron Park Basketball Court. Teams will be divided into age brackets 13-15 & 16-18. Advance registration is not required, complimentary.

Teen Night: Hit the Dance Floor

Fridays, 9:30pm - 11pm

Put your hands in the air! There's no better way to celebrate the weekend than to have a dance party. Get on the floor while we play your favorite songs. Beverages available for purchase. Meet at the Night Heron Park Pavilion. Advance registration is not required, complimentary. 

Teen Kayaking Adventure

Held throughout Summer

Time for the kids to get out and have an adventure of their own. After some quick tips, its time to jump in your own boat and have fun on the water.
