Join Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Recreation Staff for beach chairs, umbrellas and all the toys to make the most of your beach experience. Offering a wide variety of beach amentities, complimentary beach towel service, great rates and friendly beach attendents. Everyone is welcome!

Beach Set Locations ~ Under the GREEN umbrellas

Boardwalk 5: Straw Market in West Beach (Beach parking available at the Straw Market)
Boardwalk 22: Windswept High-rise east to the Sanctuary
Boardwalk 27: Turtle Beach / Maritime Villas west to the Sanctuary

Beach Sets

2 chairs, 1 umbrella and beach towel service (one towel per chair)
$25 per day, $100 per week (4 to 7 days).
Additional chairs and umbrellas $10 each per day.
Additional towels $3 each, daily.

Governors Club and Resort Rewards discounts apply to beach sets.
We accept Kiawah Resort privilege cards, Governors Club, checks and all major credit cards. Cash is not accepted.

Enjoy the convenience of having beach rental equipment delivered to your doorstep. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Recreation Department now offers comfortable lightweight aluminum backpack chairs and beach utility carts.

Backpack Chairs 

~Light weight, aluminum and nylon.
~Allows for the flexibility to enjoy Kiawah’s beach where and when you want!
~Complimentary delivery for rental of two or more days.

Cost:  $10 per day;  $25 for 4 to 7 days
 

Beach Caddy

~Large wheels allow easy transport of beach toys and gear to and from the beach.
~Folds for easy transport in your car.
~Complimentary delivery for rental of two or more days.

Cost:  $15 per day;  $50 for 4 to 7 days

Beach Amenity Pass: 

May 21st - August 21st

Beach games and toys are offered through our Amenity Pass at incredible rates at Boardwalk #5 and at The Sanctuary Beach, West of the Emergency access. Pay one price for the day or the entire week! Available items with the pass include:

Beach Toys, Bocce Ball, Ladder Golf, Beach Croquet, Horse Shoes, Paddle Ball, Buckets, Shovels, Boogie Boards, Skim Boards, Cornhole and Frisbees

Equipment available between 10am - 4pm; weather permitting, through August 21st.

Amenity pass holders will be given a wristband to show that they are current holders. Beach chairs and green umbrellas are available for rent at each location.

Amenity Pass Rates

Individual

$20 per day; $60 per week (4-7 days)

Family (4-6 family members)

$75 per day; $225 per week (4-7 days)

 

Beach Toys and Games

Beach Equipment can be rented year-round on an hourly or daily basis if the beachgoer decides to use the equipment in alternative locations of the Kiawah Beach. Delivery to your home or villa is also available for weekly rentals. Order minimums will apply and items are subject to availability. Please call 843.768.6001.

Bocce Ball - Balls with carry case: $10 per day, $35 per week   
Ladder Golf - 2 ladder stands, 6 balls: $15 per day, $50 per week  
Beach Croquet - 6 mallets, 6 balls, 9 wickets: $15 per day, $50 per week
Horse Shoes -  2 poles, 4 horse shoes: $5 per day, $20 per week     
Paddle Ball - 1 ball, 2 paddles: $5 per day, $10 per week   
Beach Toys - assorted 10 piece set: $5 per day, $20 per week      
Boogie Boards - board, $15 per day; $50 per week
Skim Boards - board, $10 per day; $35 per week
Cornhole - 2 Boards: $30 per day, $100 per week

Ocean Kayaks, Surfboards & Stand-up Paddleboards

Ocean kayaks, surfboards, and paddlebaords are available at Boardwalk #5 in west beach and at the Sanctuary Beach, west of the Emergency access. 10am - 4:30pm, daily. Boards that are rented for a full day can be delievered and picked up from your home or villa for an additional $10 each way. Ocean Kayaks -$30 single/ $45 double per 1 hour, $45 single/ $60 double per full day  
Surfboards - $20 per 1 hour, $50 per full day
