Marty Couch

Director of Group Sales

Marty brings 26 years of hotel sales and marketing management to our diverse sales team. His experience in client relations and new account development has made him an integral part of Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s vision of quality and excellence.

Chris Long

Chris Long

Director of Midwest Sales

A graduate of Marshall University in West Virginia, Chris was previously a Sales Manager at The Greenbrier and national sales manager with The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. He came to Kiawah in January 2005, and is a member of FICP and the Association Forum of Chicagoland.

John Haskins

John Haskins

Director of Golf Group Sales

John Haskins is our Director of Golf Group Sales. He previously was the golf sales manager at Charleston Golf Inc., the golf sales arm of the Charleston CVB, and has grown up with the game. His familarity with the nuances of Kiawah's five championship courses enables him to plan the best vacation for groups of all sizes and playing levels.

Representing: All golf groups with 12 or more people.

 
Mary Rieger

Mary Rieger

Director of Southeast Sales

Mary has extensive sales experience, most recently from the Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort handling corporate, medical, education and social accounts. Prior to that, she was the Associate Director of Sales at Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa responsible for various markets. Mary was also a National Sales Manager at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort & Spa.
Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.

Nicole Decocq

Nicole Decocq

Director of Mid-Atlantic Sales

A native of Windham, New Hampshire, and graduate of The University of New Hampshire, Nicole has been employed by Kiawah Island Golf Resort since 2005 starting in the resort's recreation department and working her way up through guest services and property management. Since 2009 Nicole has been handling small groups of 15 room nights, Social, Military, Educational, Religious and Fraternal Groups and was promoted in 2013 to Director of Mid-Atlantic Sales.

Spencer Hux

Spencer Hux

Director of Northeast Sales

Spencer began his career in the hospitality industry at Kiawah island Golf Resort in 2005. His initial role as sales manager began in 2006, when he held the positions of Group Sales Manager and Director of Carolina Sales. He has rejoined the team at Kiawah Island Golf Resort as the Director of Northeast Sales. Spencer graduated from Elon University and spent two years as a High School English Teacher prior to entering the hospitality industry.

Tiffany Poupore

Tiffany Poupore

Director of National Sales

Tiffany Poupore joins the resort's sales team with over 20 years of hospitality experience, most recently Wild Dunes Resort. She began her career in Austin, Texas at Barton Creek Resort and Conference Center and then worked for Westfields International Conference Center in Washington, D.C. She also worked at Seabrook Island Resort and Conference Center in positions ranging from National Accounts Manager to Director of Conference Coordination/Conference Services. Tiffany has a degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Organizational Communication and will oversee the Greater Charleston area market, as well as assist with the Northeast, Midwest and West Coast markets.

Dorsey Sullivan

Dorsey Sullivan

Group Sales Manager

Originally from Baltimore, MD, Sullivan started her career with Kiawah Island Golf Resort in 2007 as a Guest Service Agent at the Villa Front Desk. She spent four yours in the resort's Catering and Conference Services Department before joining the Group Sales Team in 2013. Sullivan will handle small groups of 15 room nights, Social, Military, Educational, Religious and Fraternal Groups. Her background and knowledge of the resort's operations will be indispensable in targeting these groups.
