Call for times
Alligators aren’t the only thing living in our ponds. Sometimes the coolest stuff cannot be seen at first glance. There is a whole new world in our ponds that is rarely seen and this is your chance to get a close-up view. After learning some pond basics Naturalists will lead the kids to a pond where they will take their very own water sample and see what creatures can be seen under our microscope!
The Jr. Naturalist program is a fun, hands-on approach to exploring nature. Each individual class can be taken on its own. However, if you take all 5 classes and complete your Nature Journal, you can become an official Kiawah Island Jr. Naturalist, and receive a free Rite in the Rain notebook to be just like your favorite Naturalist! Each session will target a different area of Kiawah's Natural History, and give each child a better appreciation of our native species. Requirements: Children must be 7 -12 years old; parents must be present to sign kids in and out, before and after the trip.
Admission Details: $25
