Join a Naturalist on a 7-mile bike tour to discover the fascinating world of wildlife that inhabits Kiawah’s diverse ecosystems. While enjoying a leisurely bike ride, you’ll gain a better understanding of the beach, dunes, maritime forest, ponds, and salt marsh that stretch across the island. Learn why each ecosystem is so unique and find out who calls them home. This tour offers a great opportunity to see much of the island in just a few hours.
Participants must be 10 years or older. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Carts, training wheels, and tag-alongs are not permitted. $20 per person. Duration: 2 Hrs.

After a long day of fun in the sun, treat yourself to a gently paced biking tour with some on-foot exploration. Have you ever wondered where the name "kiawah" came from, or when Kiawah became an island? This tour will explore the history, ecology, and beautiful views of this unique island. Timed with the sunset, we will be able to enjoy relaxing landscapes to escort us back to the nature center. 24 hour cancellation policy.
This tour is available upon request. Must be 16 years or older, participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. $15 per person. Duration 1.5 Hrs.
