After a long and rough winter, spring finally met up with us! Loggerhead Bar & Grill, The Sanctuary’s poolside dining outlet opened for the season last Friday with a full crowd and new menu items to show off.
Leading the culinary team, Chef Ryley McGillis and Kitchen Supervisior, Heyward Davis have put together a great menu for the new season. “We are offering a little something for everyone. Beging a poolside dining outlet we have crafted a menu that has light options for those warmer days during the summer and a few heavier dishes for the spring and early fall… and of course our year round favorites like our Butter Lettuce and Crab Salad,” says Chef Heyward.
When you scan through the menu you’ll also notice a few new healthier choices amongst Loggerhead’s favorite dishes. Kiawah’s culinary team is aware of the rise in today’s healthier eating focus and dining at Loggerhead Grill should be no different. “We are offering a number of healthier entree dishes, such as our fresh salads, wraps and our new black bean burger in addition to our guacamole starter and our new vegetable crudite and black eye pea hummus. Of course we can always customizing any special requests for our vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diners,” states Heyward.
