Jasmine Porch at The Sanctuary releases their new menu for the late winter. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s ‘Taste of the Lowcountry’ restaurant brings to the table five new dishes to be on the look out for next time you are craving something different!
From the garden and estuary, Chef Ryley and team rolls out their Out of Season Tomato Tasting. Found on this dish are local hot house tomatoes, a fried green tomato and tomato vinaigrette. This light but ever so tasty dish leaves you wanting more!
Off our Seasonal Vegetarian Tasting menu we have our new Curry Scented Lentils dish which is paired with mustard braised collard greens and boiled cashews. Debuting in 2013, the vegetariant tasting menu was brought to light in order to service all palates. The menu is prepared free of dairy and gluten.
From the Atlantic- Jasmine Porch kitchen has added a new seafood dish to it’s menu. Golden Tilefish with creamed spinach, roasted cauliflower, espellete and tomato jam.
From the Farm- This portion of the menu highlights your meats. Revamping their Grilled Filet Mignon, Jasmine Porch offers this dish now with caramelized onion puree, smoked mushrooms and a potato hash. Sort of a take on ‘steak and potatoes’ Lowcountry style. Also new in the protein section of the menu is the Pork Scallopini with fennel scented farro risotto, roasted almonds and a bourbon jus.
