Charleston Restaurant Week on Kiawah Island!

Charleston Restaurant Week kicks off TODAY!  More than 140 restaurants in the Lowcountry are participating in one of Charleston’s favorite weeks of the year for both locals and visitors.  The Greater Charleston Restaurant Association’s famous Restaurant Week takes place twice a year (January and September).  This 12-day event allows local residents and tourists to take advantage of the diverse and unique dining experiences Charleston has to offer.  With specially-priced menus and offerings from 3 courses for $20, 3 courses for $30 and 3 courses for $40, as well as some lunch specials, Charleston’s dining outlets are filling up with reservations!

With five of our resort restaurants participating, you won’t go hungry!  All of our Clubhouse restaurants are taking part with The Atlantic Room at The Ocean Course serving up 3 courses for $40, Tomasso at Turtle Point offering 3 courses for $30 and Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House at Osprey Point providing a great deal with 3 courses for $20!  The Sanctuary Hotel is also participating with The Ocean Room at 3 courses for $40 and Jasmine Porch with 3 courses for $30!

The Atlantic Room’s menu is featuring some Island favorites…Crispy Fried Shrimp and their famous White Chocolate Bread Pudding, with a variety of seafood and shellfish options.

Chef Williams of Tomasso at Turtle Point, the Island’s “Italian Gathering Place”, has created a menu comprised of house made pastas; Bucatini Alla Romana, Lasagna Al Forno, and Gnocchi along with an Italian favorite to complete the meal, Tiramisu.  Or if you’re feeling like something a little more casual, stop in to Osprey Point’s Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House for numerous Southern BBQ specialties on their Restaurant Week menu, such as Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Hickory Smoked Chicken and the best macaroni and cheese on the Island.  Complete your meal with our assorted beer tasting flights.

Want to dine at our gorgeous five-star, five-diamond hotel?  Pull up a chair at The Ocean Room, one of the top steakhouses in the Lowcountry.  Not only are they serving their 6 oz. Filet of Palmetto Beef but they have Seasonal Catch and Pan Roasted Chicken as well.
