This summer, Kiawah Island Golf Resort will complete three new state-of-the-art pools, two in the Night Heron Park and one adjacent to the West Beach Tennis Center. These projects include:
* A large children’s pool at the Night Heron Park, complete with 27 water features including a duel speed slide and a kid’s slide, approximately 190 feet of “zero entry, a total perimeter footage of 457 feet and a total square footage of approximately 8,500 sq.ft. Scheduled for a early June completion.
* A complete facelift of the existing pool at Night Heron. This will become Night Heron’s adult-friendly 5,233 sq.ft. pool with 304 perimeter footage, three 25 meter lap lanes and approximately 416 sq. ft of 9-foot deep lounging area, the perfect place for quiet adult relaxation, lap swimming and aqua aerobics. The pool will also be used for swim lessons and select children’s Kamp Kiawah activities. Scheduled for a mid-March completion.
* The third 4,760 sq.ft. pool (with 317 perimeter footage including approximately 90 feet of “Zero Entry”), The West Beach Tennis and Pool complex, will be built in West Beach adjacent to the West Beach Tennis Complex. The pool will include featuring both an adult section and a large play structure with nine water toys and two additional shallow water features for smaller children. It also includes a circular slide with a 90-foot run – the perfect amenity for guests staying in West Beach. Scheduled for a early June completion.
As with many of the other resort amenities, access to the pools will be restricted to guests of Kiawah Island Golf Resort and members and accompanied guests of the resort’s Governor’s Club for island property owners.

Hello,
We are planning a visit at the end of June. Any updates on whether the kids pools will be ready by then?
Kid’s pool at Night Heron Park opens TODAY! http://bit.ly/KiVSqz
I rented from an owner at Tennis Club. I was told I have access to a pool for my grandchildren. Can you tell me where? Also, can I pay for one day at Night Heron or West Beach for the kids to go to. They will be very dissappointed.
Unless you are renting from one of the villas that are on the Resort program, you won’t have access to the resort operated pools. Sorry. The pools were built by the Resort for Resort guests only.
