Meetings Tip: Teamwork

As part of our P.R.O. (Productivity, Rewards, Opportunity) Meeting initiative, we’re putting together a series of monthly meeting organization and planning tips from long-time resort employees.  Here’s our first tip from Jake Feary, Kiawah’s Assistant Director of Outdoor Programs.

TEAMBUILDING

One of the things we have found to be very successful at Kiawah, is taking people from the conference room to the outdoors. Our planners find great success in this kind of teambuilding compared to the typical outing. For example, Kiawah’s “Amazing Nature Race” is designed to promote healthy outdoor competition and energize employees. This kind of unique and exciting program brings teams together and leaves participants with a memorable experience that keeps them talking for years to come.
